Accounts Assistant
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate books of accounts and day-to-day bookkeeping
- Prepare bank, M-Pesa and supplier/customer reconciliations
- Process payments, invoices and receipts, and maintain proper records
- Support payroll, statutory filings (KRA, NSSF, SHIF, Housing Levy) and audits
- Assist in preparing monthly financial reports and donor/grant financial reporting
Requirements:
- Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA progress is an advantage)
- Relevant accounting experience; familiarity with accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks, Sage) is an advantage
- Good Excel skills, accuracy, integrity and strong organisational abilities
- Professionalism and the ability to meet deadlines
