The mandate of the Board is contained in section 59 of the County Government Acts 2012. These include establishing and abolishing offices in the County Public Service, appointing persons who hold and act in offices of the Public service among others. Requirements for appointment:-

A degree in Social Sciences such as Government, Sociology, Economics, Public/Business Administration, Human Resource/Personnel Management or any other relevant qualification from a recognized university/institution.

Duties and Responsibilities:-

• This is the entry and training grade for the Human Resource Management officers’ cadre; and
• An officer at this grade will perform a variety of Human Resource Management duties of limited scope and complexity under the guidance and supervision of a more senior officer in a medium sized department or in a section within the Human Resource Division.
