Purpose Of The Role
To manage the implementation, monitoring and reporting of the Farm Africa “Development of pulses value chain and complementary farming systems through regenerative agriculture’’ project funded by AGRA.
This position requires an experienced manager with strong agri-business background and management skills and experience working with both the private and public sector. S/he will have a track record of value chain development including production, marketing, product logistics and developing business plans. High competence in budgeting, reporting, work planning, line management and ensuring project deliverables are met, are essential.
Bachelor degree in Agriculture, Agribusiness, Business Management or
any other related field.
- Knowledge of the development and policy environment in Kenya
- Demonstrable understanding of private sector agriculture value chains and rural development in Kenya
- Good understanding of how small scale producers can be linked to the private sector or markets for their produce
