Business Analyst Job, Current IT JObs In Kenya,
Job Purpose.
The role holder will work with stakeholders from all business units and related third parties to define and document business processes and software requirements for technology initiatives, including online products, content management systems, and business information systems. The role holder will also assist with the business case, planning and monitoring, eliciting requirements, translating and simplifying requirements.
Main Responsibilities
- Analyze and model the business domain to create a complete picture of workflows and technical requirements fulfilled by existing and proposed software.
- Define the business problem and primary objectives of new projects. Identify and validate the key business requirements.
- Liaise with cross-functional business process re-engineering teams and continuous improvement efforts.
- Evaluate potential software solutions, including off-the-shelf and open-source components, and the system architecture to ensure that they meet business requirements and advise management.
- Liaise with business units to build business use cases around systems requirements.
- Perform market research and analysis within the technology space.
- Participate in development of project plans and collect the Mission Analysis data, while updating the dashboard

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, IT or any other related field.
- Qualification in Project Management (preferably PMP or Prince 2)
- Qualification in Business Analysis (preferably IIBA)
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft office suite/packages and project management tools & methodologies.
Relevant Experience
- Minimum of 3-4 years’ relevant experience.
- Experience in process design and optimization.
- Experience in the Insurance industry would be an added advantage.
