Planning Officer (One Position) – DVC (FAP) Office

The purpose of the job:  

Coordinating strategy implementation through long range planning committee and various university organs, facilitating communication, information processing and access between the office of the DVC(FAP) and the internal and external publics in line with policies, processes & procedures to achieve overall objectives.

Qualifications

• Christian commitment and practice 
• Master’s degree in business from an accredited University
• Five (5) years professional experience 
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills with ability to work in a multi-cultural setting.
• Adept in office systems software and equipment including MS Office computer literacy.
• Report writing, presentation skills and high expertise in monitoring and evaluation.
• Membership to a recognized professional body

Responsibilities 

• Assist in formulation of the strategic plan to facilitate effective realization of the organization’s Vision and Mission
• Coordinating strategy implementation through long range planning committee and various university organs
• Undertaking periodic reviews and reporting while ensuring implementation of actions made by management board and long-range planning committee and various university organs
• Facilitating communication, information processing and access between the office of the DVC(FAP) and the internal and external publics in reference to the strategic planning
• Provide support in formulation and review of various policy documents.
• Assist in monitoring and evaluation of the strategic plan and other Board interventions.
• Generating corporate performance dashboard to ensure performance tracking and appropriate actions.
• Carrying out market intelligence and develop the University’s SWOT, analyze, and report.
• Ensuring Christian behavior and appropriate behavior both internal and external in line with the institutions Strategy. 
• Implementing change initiatives to achieve desired business plans and culture.
