Human Resources Officer – Grade KPC 6

Job specifications Employee Benefits & Records

  • Ensure accuracy of data entered in the SAP HCM
  • Generate monthly employee confirmation
  • Issue confirmation
  • Maintain accurate employee leave and shift records in the system
  • Generate staff movement reports

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences or Human Resource Management
  • Post Graduate Qualification in Human Resource Management if the first degree is not in Human Resource
  • Minimum of four (4) years’ relevant experience
  • Membership to IHRM
  • HR Practicing License from IHRM
  • Proficiency in Computer Applications
  • Demonstrated competence in work performance
  • SAP HCM Certification will be an added advantage

Key Skills and Competencies

  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, influencing and negotiation
  • Proven track record and ability to solve interpersonal conflict
  • Ability to identify and clarify key underlying issues in employee problems and independently counsel staff on significant challenges facing the organisation, and negotiate resolutions to conflicts which seem to be at an impasse
  • Ability to maintain professional status and keep abreast of evolving trends in industrial relations development through continuing professional education programmes

of the Constitution of Kenya. They must upload copies of the following;

  • Certificate of Good Conduct from the Directorate of Criminal investigations
  • Clearance Certificate from Higher Education Loans Board (HELB)
  • Tax Compliance Certificate from Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA)
  • Clearance from the Ethics & Anti-corruption Authority (EACC)
  • Clearance from Credit Reference Bureau (CRB)
