Role overview
AAS seeks a
Multimedia and Communications Assistant
to join the Communications and PR department, the team responsible for corporate communications at the AAS. The successful candidate will support the enhancement of the organisation’s visual identity through the development of innovative multimedia assets for our website, social media platforms and print products.
Qualifications and competencies
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Film Production, Public Relations or any other related field. Must have recently graduated within the last two years.
- Strong proficiency in the Adobe Suite (particularly Premiere Pro, InDesign and illustrator) or an equivalent.
- Demonstrated experience in graphic design, video production and photography. Applicants should share samples of their work.
- Demonstrated writing experience.
- Ability to work on and prioritise multiple ongoing projects, as well as adhere to tight
- deadlines while maintaining strict quality standards.
- Excellent interpersonal, written, verbal and collaboration skills.
- Creative, resourceful, and eager to learn.
Additional information
This is a fixed term engagement. The successful candidate will be engaged full time (40 hours/ week) for a period of 1 year working at the AAS office in Nairobi, Kenya.
