Our logistics services include Customs brokerage, warehousing, cargo transportation, distribution and Supply Chain Management services in Kenya and in East and Central Africa.

TITLE: Operations Intern

REPORTS TO : COO

Responsibilities

• Assist to manage Operational relationships with clients.
• Assist in preparing shipping documents.
• Assist in preparing quotations to clients.
• Assist in tracking shipments to ensure they arrive on time.
• Assist in preparing customer updates and sharing with the clients
• Assist in negotiating with suppliers or customers to improve supply chain efficiency or sustainability.
• Assist in analyzing the financial impact of proposed logistics changes.
• Assist in developing risk management programs to ensure continuity of supply in emergency scenarios.
• Assist in monitoring import processes to ensure compliance with regulatory or legal requirements.
• Assist in confirming accuracy of declaration and authenticity of warehousing and import entries as well as all other supporting documentation.
• Assist in compiling financial reports for each shipment cleared and delivered
• Any other duties assigned by the management.

Qualifications (Preferred)

• Degree in Supply Chain or other related field.
• Proficiency in MS Office and MS Excel is mandatory
• Exceptional integrity and strong sense of ethics
• Effective communication skills
• Diligent attention to detail
• Good interpersonal skills & team-oriented
