Job Description
In 1999, we introduced coffee drinking and gourmet café culture to Kenya. As we grew, we created more spots where people could enjoy the Java experience conveniently. Java House is on the move – we’re building branches and creating jobs all over East Africa, working to bring the Java experience closer to you. Our coffee houses would not be what they are without the effort, commitment and passion of the Java House team who make sure each branch is a place where everyone feels at home. Responsibilities
  • Welcome guests and maintain high standards of restaurant hygiene as per Company SOPs.
  • Quality food preparation and presentation which meets food safety requirements.
  • To maintain a hygiene working environment in kitchen by providing clean utensils and washrooms
  • Handling cash, assisting guests in take away orders and taking orders via the phone.
  • Maintain a fast speed service at all times.
  • Take orders from guests and Assist the guests in the processing of orders
  • Suggestive selling products and introduction of new ones to guests
  • Channels any communication from the guests to ensure an efficient working relationship
  • Ensure the kitchen is clean and sanitized.
  • Ensure that all food are stored correctly.
Requirements

YEARS OF EXPERIENCE :  1-2 years

MUST-HAVE SKILLS

  • High school Certificate is a must
  • Experience on customer service
  • Must be prepared to work under pressure
