ADMINISTRATIVE UNITS The county is composed of six Constituencies, 15 administrative divisions namely: Ainamoi,Belgut, Kabianga, Bureti, Roret, Cheborge, Sigowet and Soin. Other Admibnistrative Divisions are: Kunyak, Chilchila, Kamasian, Kipkelion, Londiani, Sorget and Chepseon. These are further su-devided into 85 locations that are further sub-divided into 209 sub-locations. It covers an area of2,479 sq. km.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Ensuring compliance with fire safety standards;
- Preparation of estimates related to fire installations;
- Inspection of buildings to asses fire hazards and risks;
- Supervision of installation, repair and maintenance of fire equipment in public buildings, hospitals, conference centres and institutions; conducting fire investigations and compiling reports.
Requirements for internship
- Be unemployed graduate from a recognized institution having graduated within the last three (3) years (2020,2021,2022);
- Bachelors Degree in any of the following disciplines: Mechanical/Electrical/Mechatronics/Chemical Engineering or equivalent and relevant qualification from a recognized Institution;
- First Aid Certificate Course lasting not less than one (1) week from St. St. John’s Ambulance or Kenya Institute of Highways and Building Technology (KIHBT) or any other recognized institution;
- Have no previous work experience related to the area of study;
- Certificate of good conduct.
