Job Title: Backend Developer – Node.js

Job Purpose: We are looking for a Node.js Developer responsible for managing the inter change of data between the server and the users. The primary focus will be the development of all server-side logic, definition and maintenance of the central database, and ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the frontend.

Responsibilities

• Integration of user-facing elements developed by front-end developers with server-side logic
• Design, build and maintain efficient, reusable and reliable code
• Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
• Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems, Help maintain code quality, organization, and atomization
• Communicate effectively with project managers, product owners, and development team members to facilitate understanding of deliverables, estimates, and prioritization

Skills and Qualifications

• Possession of an undergraduate degree in computer science or in a related field
• Strong knowledge & experience working with Nodejs & Javascript
• Basic understanding of frontend technologies such as HTML5, and CSS3

• Good Communications skills
• Creative talents and the ability to solve tough problems
• The ability to handle pressure and meet deadlines
• Skill in prioritizing and triaging obligations
• Attention to details
• Excellent time management and organization
