Registered Clinical Officer Job, Medical Jobs Kenya 2021, 

Pursuant to the Constitution of Kenya 2010 (Article 185(2), 186(1) and 187(2) on distribution of functions between the National Government and County Government and the County Government Act No. 17 of 2012, the Narok County Public Service Board invites applications from suitably qualified candidates to fill the following positions in the Narok County Government.

REGISTERED CLINICAL OFFICER III, – TWO (2) POSITION NCG/CPSB/23 TERMS OF SERVICE: PERMANENT AND PENTIONABLE

SALARY SCALE: CPSB 11: Ksh. 25,470 X 1,110 – 26,580 X 1,120 – 27,700 X 1,150 – 28,850 X 1,170 -30,020 X 1,250 – 31,270 X 1,300 – 32,570 X 1,380 – 33,950 p.m .

Responsibilities

This will be the entry and training grade for this cadre. Duties and responsibilities at this level involve:

taking history, examine, diagnose and treat patients’ common ailments at an outpatient or inpatient health

 

facility; 199 implementing Community Health Care activities in liaison with other health workers; guiding and counselling patients, clients and staff on health issues; sensitizing patients and clients on preventive and promotive health; carrying out minor surgical procedures as per training and skill; collection and compilation of clinical data; and referring patients and clients to appropriate health facilities.

Qualifications

  • Diploma in Clinical Medicine and Surgery or Clinical Medicine and Community Health or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution;
  • Certificate of Registration from the Clinical Officers’ Council; and
  •  Certificate in computer application skills.
