PURPOSE
The job holder will responsible for review the development of strategic plans, policies development, and research for the Board.
Key Responsibilities
Theduties and responsibilities of the officer will entail: –
- Coordinating the review of the Strategic Plan;
- Developing a framework on stakeholdersparticipation;
- Conducting competitive analysis and identify gaps and opportunities in the market;
- Identifying and implementing strategies, programmesand projects;
- Conducting studies on matters relating tocompetition and consumer protection;
- Constructing forecasts and analytical models;
- Monitoring and analysing industry trends and marketchanges; and
- Monitoring,evaluating and reporting on the implementation of programmes and projects.
Qualifications
For appointment to this grade, an officer must: –
- Have at least six (6) years relevant work experience in public or private institution
- Have Bachelors degree in any ofthe following disciplines: Engineering ,Economics,Statistics, or equivalent qualification from a recognized Institution;
- Be registered with a professional body whereapplicable;
- Have proficiency in Computer application Skills;
- Have shown merit and ability as reflected in workperformance and results; and
- Fulfilled the requirements of Chapter six of theConstitution.
