Ice Cream & Butter Supervisor (Dispatch & Distribution)

Qualifications, Skills and Experience

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 4-7 years of experience in dispatch, logistics, distribution, or warehouse operations within FMCG.
• Minimum 2 years of experience supervising drivers, delivery teams, or warehouse personnel.
• Experience in dairy, ice cream, frozen foods, or temperature-controlled distribution is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of cold-chain operations, inventory control, stock reconciliation, and POD documentation. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with ERP or inventory management systems.
• Strong leadership, planning, communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and supervise daily dispatch, delivery schedules, routes, and distribution operations.
• Ensure proper cold-chain management, temperature control, food safety, and product handling.
• Oversee stock movements, loading, inventory reconciliation, shortages, damages, and returns.
• Verify customer orders, invoices, dispatch records, and proof of delivery (POD) documentation.
• Supervise drivers, loaders, salesmen, and delivery teams to ensure productivity and compliance.
• Coordinate with Warehouse, Sales, and Logistics teams to resolve delivery issues and customer complaints.
• Prepare dispatch, delivery, stock movement, and POD reports while identifying opportunities to reduce losses and delays.
