Qualifications
For appointment to this grade, an officer must have:
- Bachelor’s Degree in any of the following fields, Commerce, Business Administration (Supply Management) option, Economics, Procurement and Supplies Management, Marketing or the equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
- Proficiency in computer application
- Fulfilling the requirements of Chapter (6) Six of the Constitution
Duties and Responsibilities at this level will entail:
- Processing of agenda for the tender committees and assisting in implementation of decision thereof.
- Prepare and update store ledgers and all store documents
- Opening of tenders/quotations
- Undertake technical evaluation/quotation analysis
- Issuance of goods from store to user divisions
- Serve as a secretary to both opening and technical committees
- Prepare stock reports/ reconciliations and submit to relevant users
- To prepare good received note/documents and pass to the Accountant for payment
- Undertake any other professional duties assigned by the supervisor
