Our client is a leading logistics company based in Nairobi and has its operations for over 8 years. They seek to hire a self-motivated and efficient Logistics Assistant who will be reporting to the Operation Manager to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service.

Responsibilities

• Assist in ensuring compliance to all company standards to increase revenue management.
• Prepare timely and accurate reports.
• Coordinate training for all employees as per the company policies and procedures.
• Resolve customer complaints to completion.
• Ensure compliance with all security procedures and design strategies to protect client property in liaison with the Operations Manager.
• Ensure staff safety to reduce injury while on duty and assess accident reports.
• Assist the Operations Manager in performing orientation and providing training to all new employees and determining appropriate feedback from employees.
• Conduct spot checks to clients regarding client service.
• Assist in monitoring emerging trends in the logistics industry to stay up to date and relevant.
• Maintain and strengthen the relationships with existing customers by providing high-level service.
• Assist the Operations Manager in ensuring monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets are met and surpassed.
• Find creative ways to bring in new business and ensure the existing clients’ relationships are nurtured.

Qualifications & Experience 

• Minimum qualification – Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Business-related field.
• Understands marketing, finance, and generally how businesses run.
• Acts as a true ambassador of the brand.
• Must be outgoing, presentable, pleasant, and a people person who enjoys working with teams to deliver results.
• Strong organizational skills with a demonstrable ability to handle strict deadlines and pressure.
