Our client, one of the leading FMCG companies in Kenya, seeks to hire a dispatch Clerk to Coordinate and maintain a reliable and efficient dispatch service system for all customers.

Key Responsibility

• Receive orders from relevant sales and accounts personnel to determine what is required in terms of dispatch work.
• Sort out dispatch orders according to timelines and organize them for delivery.
• Supervise the loading of products into the vehicles to ensure that the right ones are loaded for delivery/dispatch purposes.
• Inspect and ensure that sales/delivery vehicles are in hygienic working condition before loading.
• Create and maintain logs of dispatch activities managed, and overseen as per the laid down standard operating procedures.
• Record and maintains data related to the day’s workload such as delivery confirmations and customer requests and complaints
• Create and maintain liaisons with the relevant teams to ensure that they deliver assigned packages to the right places.

Professional Skills

• A minimum of CPA Part 1 or its equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years experience.
• Experience in manufacturing set-up/Dairy Industry/Dairy Processor will be an added advantage.
• Strong sense of integrity and accountability.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to act decisively and resolve problems.
• Strong communication and customer service skills
