Requirements for Appointment:-
- Must be a Kenyan Citizen;
- A valid class BCE driving license;
- Must have a certificate course in Electrical /Mechanical Engineering from a recognized institution;
- Must have 2 years’ experience in firefighting;
- Must have a Diploma course from a recognized fire services training school/institution;
- Must be physically fit with good eye sight and excellent sense of smell.
- Have good communication and interpersonal skills.
Duties and Responsibilities:-
- Assisting in the firefighting operations during the actual fire- fighting exercise and during demonstrations.
- Assisting in rescue operations during emergency and other disasters.
- Operating appliances and communication equipment and citing firefighting appliances.
